Montana Title 27. Civil Liability, Remedies, and Limitations § 27-18-601. Sheriff to retain nonperishable attached property and proceeds of sales

The proceeds and other property attached by the sheriff must be retained by the sheriff to answer any judgment that may be recovered in the action unless sooner subjected to execution upon another judgment recovered previous to the issuing of the attachment.
