Missouri Revised Statutes Title XLI. Codes and Standards § 701.375. Operating certificate issued when--content--posting requirements

1. The board shall issue an operating certificate for each unit of equipment which has satisfactorily met all the inspections and tests required by the board. The operating certificate shall designate the rated load and speed where applicable, the date of the acceptance tests and inspections, and the name of the inspector who witnessed such test and inspection. The final certificate shall also include the necessary space for inserting:
(1) The signature of the inspector who made the periodic inspection; and
(2) The date of the periodic inspection and test.
2. The owner, agent or lessee shall post the operating permit in the elevator machine room, in a noncombustible frame with a plexiglass vision plate. For all other installations the operating permit shall be posted as directed by the board.
