When a district authorized by section 67.5000 is created, it shall be a body corporate and a political subdivision of this state and the district shall be known as “․․․․․․․ Parks, Trails, and Greenways District”. In that name, the district may sue and be sued, issue bonds and levy and collect taxes or fees pursuant to the limitations of sections 67.5000 to 67.5038.
