The month of April is hereby designated as “Child Abuse Prevention Month” in the state of Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to observe the month with appropriate activities and events to increase awareness of the prevalence and warning signs of child abuse and the prevention methods and measures available to reduce the incidence of child abuse in this state.
