Massachusetts General Laws Part I. Administration of the Government (Ch. 1-182) Ch. 6, § 178A

A victim of crime, witness or family member of a homicide victim, all as defined by section 1 of chapter 258B, may obtain all available criminal offender record information of the person accused or convicted of said crime.  Criminal justice agencies may also disclose to such persons such additional information, including, but not limited to, evaluative information, as such agencies determine is reasonably necessary for the security and well being of such persons.
