Except as specifically provided in this Chapter, this Chapter does not authorize the discovery or inspection of reports, memoranda, notes, or other internal documents made by the defendant or by agents of the defendant in connection with the investigation or defense of the case; ‚ÄČor of any document, notes, or other items which contain the mental impressions of any attorney for the defendant or any investigator working on behalf of such attorney.
