Whoever shall secrete, sell, dispose of, or offer for sale, or in any manner pawn or pledge, or retain or refuse to deliver to an officer entitled to take possession thereof, any uniform, arms or equipment, the property of the United States, which shall have been secured under the provisions of this act, or any military property belonging to the state of Kansas, and any member of the Kansas national guard who shall, when not on duty, wear any such uniform or equipment without the permission of the member's commanding officer, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten or more than thirty days, or by a fine of not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars.
