§ 1.1. The clerk of the circuit court in each county shall enter upon the duties of office on the first day in the month of December following his or her election on which the office of the clerk of the circuit court is required, by statute or by action of the court, to be open.
This amendatory Act of 1973 does not apply to any county which is a home rule unit.
