Illinois Statutes Chapter 210. Health Facilities and Regulation § 85/9.2. Disclosure

§ 9.2. Disclosure. Prior to conducting a survey of a hospital operating under an approved waiver, equivalency, or other approval, a surveyor must be made aware of the waiver, equivalency, or other approval prior to entering the hospital. Prior to commencing an inspection, the Department must provide the hospital with documentation that the survey is being conducted, with consideration of the relevant waiver, equivalency, or approval. After conducting the survey, the Department must conduct a comprehensive exit interview with designated hospital representatives at which the hospital may present additional information regarding findings.
