Illinois Statutes Chapter 205. Financial Regulation § 635/4-8.2. Reports of violations

§ 4-8.2. Reports of violations. Any person licensed under this Act or any other person may report to the Commissioner any information to show that a person subject to this Act is or may be in violation of this Act. A licensee who files a report with the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation that another licensee is engaged in one or more violations pursuant to this Act shall not be the subject of disciplinary action by the Department, unless the Department determines, by a preponderance of the evidence available to the Department, that the reporting person knowingly and willingly participated in the violation that was reported.
