California Code, Welfare and Institutions Code - WIC § 7503

The object of each hospital is such care, treatment, habilitation, training, and education of the persons committed thereto as will render them more comfortable and happy and better fitted to care for and support themselves.

“Small business” means a business, not a subsidiary or division of another business, having an average annual volume for the preceding three fiscal years which does not exceed one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000).
