California Code, Welfare and Institutions Code - WIC § 11323.9

Each county welfare department shall provide to the State Department of Social Services, on a monthly basis, data regarding child care usage and demand in stage one of child care services, as described in Article 15.5 (commencing with Section 8350) of Chapter 2 of Part 6 of the Education Code, through which a recipient of aid under this chapter, or any successor program, will pass. The specific information needed for these reports may be specified by the Department of Social Services or through provisions of the annual Budget Act.
