Alabama Code Title 45. Local Laws § 45-21-70

(b)(1) The Crenshaw County Commission may increase the expense allowance of the chair of the commission up to an additional one thousand dollars ($1,000) per month. The action shall require a majority vote of all members of the commission. The expense allowance shall be in addition to all compensation, salary, and expense allowances presently paid. The expense allowance shall be paid out of either the county road and bridge fund or the county general fund, whichever fund the county commission deems fiscally proper.

(2) The remaining members of the Crenshaw County Commission shall continue receiving their expense allowance pursuant to subsection (a).
